my husky is weird and hot tempered?
he is the worst watch dog i have ever seen in my life, and he is a big baby. this is my second husky and i dont remember the last one being like this. he jumps on all the other animals if they walk up to me when i am by him. he is 2 years old. its still funny when i am in the house around midnight and he hears me moving around and he starts talking and crying for his momma. do any of yall have huskys and are they just plain off stuborn in general
i didnt say i didnt like him little miss what ever your name is, i love him and just think everything he does is funny, and the first answer yeap, everything you said was right. i took him to get a haircut and they called me 20 min later telling me to come get him or they would have to put him to sleep to cut his hair. i love em though, he usually sleeps in the bed half the time and if i dont take him riding in the truck, he will cry
i work at a Animal Hospital as a vet tech… Huskies are beautiful dogs and dont get me wrong i like them and all… but they are the worst dogs to do anything to… their stubborn and are whimps about eerything… We muzzle most of them because they are bad for trying to snap. They "yodel" about everything we do to them and are very very energetic… i think they are just plain out stubborn and hard to deal with.

Many canine misbehaviors are born out of instinct, and most arise from either boredom or stress. Aggressive behavior, chasing, marking, and resource guarding are modern manifestations of dogs’ early instincts to acquire food and protect their territory and pack. Digging and chewing, on the other hand, are usually the results of boredom. Barking is a little of both. Jumping up and mouthing are simply examples of one species (dogs) attempting to make a connection using very different forms of communication than another species (humankind) understands.

Do you believe letting a child put extra hair in their hair, that's a different color, is unacceptable?
I asked my mom if I could add colored weave to my hair, pink or blue, not go over board and do a whole style in it but just a few streaks. She said no because I am not "ghetto" and she doesn’t want me not to get a job, which I am currently trying to find one, just because I have bright colors in my head. I understand her point of view but I tried to "argue" that it’s better for a kid to try out things when they are younger then when they have established an offical career and go in as a buisness woman with every kinda color in their head. I mean, I am going to listen to her opinion and hold off on getting hair added of those colors but what do you think about it?
Well, my hair is dark brown (looks black though) so I’d probably just go with a regular color like blonde.
Basically she said because I am an African American female she would not like me to dress up and look all nice but have colored hair in my head and appear like I’m going to act that way on the job. She didn’t mean it to be rude just meant that if I’m an intelligent, young lady, who really wants the job (and needs it for school) then why appear as though I’m going to act a way that some people may sterotype me as just because I have colored hair in my head.
as hard as it to hear "no" sometimes, you are blessed…a mom who cares is worth her weight in gold…ask if you can have a sleep over and wear them there, for one night, or have a mom and daughter night and put them in each others hair. Bet you look pretty but it is better to have caring and involved mom…

Your Mom’s right. Wait until you have a job. Unfortunately, a first impression is human nature, so you may jeopardize your chances by not looking "professional". Once you have the joband give your employers enough time to see your positive attributes, you can get the colour streak… nothing too crazy.

I do have to agree with your mom. If you are looking for a job then now is not the time to be doin crazy things to your appearance. That would be like getting your lip and nose pierced then going into an Attorney’s Office asking for a job ya know? Also I don’t see a point in putting tons of colors and fake hair in your own hair either. I dyed mine all kinds of crazy colors when I was a teenager and it friend my hair,I understand that you are just adding fake hair but still…its really not worth it. All it does is add some different colors and there is ALWAYS someone who is gonna bash it which isn’t that great for the self esteem. I mean be your own person but its not really worth it to put all kinds of crazy stuff on yourself. Plus no job is gonna hire someone who has pink and blue in their hair(just example colors) unless you plan on getting a job at Hot Topic or Spencers or something like that(which is no job to look forward to keeping,no offense to anyone cause I love those stores..but still). Your mom is looking out for your best interests, she’s not telling you no just to make you mad. We,as parents, want the best for our children and sometimes telling them no,for even stuff like this, is our idea of looking out for you(our children). Just listen to your mom, you’ll thank her later when you have a job =)

What colours are you talking about? Blond highlights would not be an issue. Bright blue, that’s a problem.
See, if I was the manager of a store, and I wanted to maintain a professional standard, and I had one applicant with a natural hair colour, and one who looked like Rainbow Brite, which one am I going to hire?
And when I worked for The Disney Store, along with a long list of other restrictions, we we not allowed to colour our hair an unnatural colour.
Your mom is correct on this one.

Why not compromise. Instead of getting something permanent or expensive, purchase either some clip in funky colors, or else some of the colored gel or spray. Something that can be easily removed and washed out.
This way you can experiment with your hair when going out with friends, and then look a little more presentable at the other times.
As a teen, I did a lot of crazy things with my hair. My parents usually never minded nor said much. I don’t feel these teen phases really had any negative impact, but I do look back at it and either laugh or cringe at some of the things I did.
Hopefully your mom can come around and try and remember what it was like to be a teenager.

Can you find a less permanent option than a weave? I know it won’t look the same, but you could take it out for job hunting and wear it when it’s more appropriate.
Would you be willing to take a more natural color for now so it looks more professional, and then switch it out later?
I do agree with your argument, but if you’re job hunting, you’ve kind of missed that "do it while you’re younger" window, at least for now. What kinds of jobs are you trying to find, though? Overall, the way you dress, your attitude, and your overall professionalism are going to speak much more than some non-natural colored weave. If you can find a way of balancing it and making sure that it is not defining you, it’s worth a shot. Employers would rather hire someone who is qualified, stable, and going to be the best person for the job, and if everything else about you speaks to your qualifications, the odd colors shouldn’t cause too many problems.

your mom is uneducated say’n "no because I am not "ghetto" was uncalled for .ask her 2 define ghetto .also i commend you for respecting your mom’s wishes no matter how rude they are . But for me having a child with colored hair is the least of the problems a parent can be faced with …its just an expression of you or you try’n to find your way.

well im 13 and im no parent yet but id say just wait till you have a job and do it OR if your applying at places like mcdonalds and wendys or the mall apply at hottopic they dont care what you look like thats were im going for my first job then i want to go to cosmitoligy school and i might have to look less "gehto" or "extream" first but im planing on working my way up into a more hardcore hairsalon becasue thats the type of hair i love and im better at it AND they wont mind i have face peircings and hyed hair and whatnot im currently fighting with my mom to let me go up gauge sizes im only at 12 and she thinks thats "huge" wtf 12s just look like my regualr earing got pulled and stretched D: and then she wont let me get snake bites or a monroe i agree with you to get it out of your system before you need to get a job or pretty much when your younger and your job dosnt have to pay for your house and kids
