NOTE: This is still a work in progress. All CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, tips, and comments are appreciated.

Name: Mangetsu no Hyouga
Age: 15
Appearance/Mannerisms:
Hair is dark blue and spiky – for some unexplained reason it just defies gravity. His eyes are pupil-less and completely grey – he looks blind, he is around six feet-tall and muscular, he has a tendency of keeping his head bowed low as he walks, he sleeps for sixteen hours a-day, he believes that "everything [in this world] is troublesome," his first word was "troublesome" (TWA-bol-SUM, whatever,) he calls sake "allegedly alcoholic," his favorite food is ramen. He tends to look down on those he deems of as less intelligent or those that believe that are above him (the upper class) He never refers to his apprentice by her first name (ironically, this is all she calls him by,) he is a solitary person – when he is first introduced to his student he states that he does not wish to travel "… with some annoying brat!"
Background:
He is an orphan from the village Fubuki. Compared to the rest of the children his age he didn’t have a great childhood – partially responsible for this was his "thirst for knowledge" which led him to practice the forbidden arts of his people, but mostly responsible was an unspoken law in the village, dealing with some past event, which dictates – "no orphans are allowed." Because of these two reasons he was alienated from the children his age, was barely fed, the adults and older children would beat him, and had a tree to call "home" – this went on until the day he was ten years-old, when he finally forced to leave.
People:
The people of his world LOVE war and because of this they train children to be soldiers since the age of four. The first training the children receive is "suppression training" and then "endurance training" (basically, extreme forms of meditation and endurance training – it lasts about two months, those that survive continue their studies) At the age of ten children "graduate" from school, becoming a minor form of adult and are free to do with their lives as they wish (join the army)
World:
His world is "parallel" to ours. It’s basically the same, minding a load of exaggerated geographical features and the following facts:
* Northwest is actually North
* One year is fourteen months long – hence, if one says they are twelve they are actually fourteen
* No one has a family name
* Modernization and industrialization have not occurred – they still live in a feudal/medieval era society ruled by limited monarchies
* There are no forms of "modern technology"
The world is split up into seven countries, called "Regions," each named after its geographical features. Hence, we have the following: the Wing Region, the Fire Region, the Water Region, the Earth Region, the Plant Region, the Lightning Region, and the Ice Region. Each region has its own language: Polish, Spanish, Latin/English, Swahili, French, Romanian, and Japanese/Chinese. However these languages are only used to name certain things (people, places, etc.) and instead English is the language under which all are united. There is ALWAYS a war between two, three, or four regions. There has only been one case of worldwide war – which lasted over ten years and and eradicated over fifty-percent of the world’s population.
Family:
He comes from an ancient 1500 year-old clan served by foxes. Formerly, it was a hugely populated clan, but has since been dwindled down to four members. It is and was made up of mostly women. In fact, including Hyouga, only three males have ever been born into the clan. They are known for their hair – dark blue and in varying spiked styles.
Okay, I’ll say this first: I like Hyouga. He’s one of those unpleasant characters that you can’t help but like, and his past gets the sympathy glands working.
Now, my immediate reaction to this was, "Whoah, Naruto flashbacks." Hyouga reminds me of a mix of Naruto (the foxes, the ramen, the orphan thing, treated badly), Sasuke (anit-social, the hair, grey eyes), Gaara (general distaste of people), and Shikamaru ("troublesome", sleeps a lot). Also, there’s the: training the young, different countries based on geographical features, parallel world very similar to ours, etc. And this is with me not even reading to Shippuuden yet…
I think it’s safe to assume that you got the idea from Naruto (if not, then, holy crap, talk about coincidences XD). Also, I don’t know if you plan to make this a manga or a novel, but either way, it’s going to attract the same crowd, and with Naruto being popular, the similarities WILL be noticed. Just a warning. It seems like you’ve done a good bit of planning, so I hate to tell you that you should scrap it and start over. However, I would seriously consider changing some more things around to make it less similar, if I were you.

I’m defense in Mock Trial and I can’t find the charge on withholding evidence; one of the prosecution witnesses has done so.
The court can assess santions for non disclosure. They can be huge penalties either of money or in terms of the case

Some good books about the mafia are anything by Mario Puzo, the author of The Godfather. The books are a bit different from the movie, so even if your brother has seen the film, he will like the books also.

I eat right and exercise like nobody's business, but I can't get toned…..?
I’m 13 and a half, weigh 125 pounds, and eat lots of fruits and vegetables, but no meat (I’m a vegetarian). I play football, softball, soccer, you name it. I have a pool in my backyard so in the summer I swim at least twice a day, mostly fooling around but I make a point to swim laps. I never just walk anywhere, I run all the time.
SO WHY DO MY THIGHS JIGGLE SO MUCH? And why does my stomach stick out so much? What can I do to tone my body? Specifics, please. Any changes of diet or exercises I can do? Please help! 10 points to the best answer, you know.
Oh, and I’m 5′8. Sorry I forgot to add that part.
When you’re thin it can be hard to build muscle. Body builders tend to eat lots and lots of carbohydrates and protein in a day to keep their muscle mass up. This isn’t exactly right for the average dieter and exerciser, so protein is what you need.
Basically, you have to have something to start with before you can get muscle tone, which is why a lot of people take energy bars, protein bars and protein shakes. Those things will make someone who doesn’t work out heavier while it while make a more active person build muscle tone.
With being a vegetarian it’s my guess that you’re not getting enough protein in your diet. Protein is extremely essential to building muscle. I’ve listed a few links about nice, protein rich foods for vegetarians.
You’re not eating right for somebody who wants to gain muscle. Talk to a dietitian about the best diet for you.
Don’t be alarmed if you do gain weight because muscle weighs more than fat.

I have a hunch that you are demanding too much of yourself. I seriously doubt that your thighs "jiggle" or that your stomach "sticks out." It sounds a little like the kinds of evaluations that anorexic people make about their own bodies.

Maybe your just being paranoid about your body…
If you eat right and exercise, then there is nothing to worry about!

What's your thoughts on spirits aka "ghosts" or poltergeists, etc. (kind of long)?
First of all, I am Christian…but I also tend to analyze everything that I see, hear and read to double-check everything. The topic of "ghosts" and "demons" and "poltergeists" and such seems quite debatable nowadays. So, I’m asking this question simply to get others’ thoughts and reasonings…not to start a theological debate or have other Christians tell me what I should or should not be doing.
My questions are quite a few in number, but also something I’ve thought a lot about since I’ve read various articles and saw various documentaries about different locations being "haunted" and such.
If people go to heaven or hell when they die, how is it that people see and hear things in old abandoned insane asylums, old houses where terrible things happen, the site of horrible accidents in buildings, armories, ships, etc. where terrible things happened. If people die and go to heaven or hell…who’s "haunting" the buildings that millions of people around the world seem to see/hear/encounter? They see "mists" and forms of a human being (usually that looks very similar to that of a former employee, family member, etc.), unexplainable glowing "orbs" that dart around the room as if lit up like a laser pointer. Some people report "cold spots" as if a being just walked through them or is in the presence of them. Some hear "knocking" or see other physically visible signs of a "confirmation" by the supposed entity when they ask if it’s x name or x person and if they died there, etc.
I believe in God. But to be fair in the argument…theoretically speaking, if there is no God, where do any ’spirits’ as well call them originate from? (don’t you fellow Christians dare quote that "The fool has said in his heart "There is no God" verse to me…i’m doing this to prove a point)
How are these ghosts/spirits/whatever visible sometimes but not in others, and only "felt" at other times as a cold, dark presence? How can they be a spirit in another realm and supposedly move objects around, cause liquids to leak out of walls randomly (usually resembling some sort of blood-like material red in color), etc.? Even a physical person can’t exactly pull that off in such an instant manner without having rigged an entire building to do that.
Yet rarely is there ever a case where the supposed "ghosts" physically hurt someone. I watched a video where one guy lived in a house where a little girl died and apparently the guy who killed her died, as well. The occupant of the house got live "cuts" on camera that would literally just appear and bleed on camera without any tricks, as if being attacked. That confuses me how things like this could happen, yet others don’t seem to do anything to people but "scare" them by pushing things, some supposedly "speak" audibly or by what many people called EVP, etc.
If there are "spirit realm rules" of sorts that prevents them from doing harm to humans…why are some more physically violent than others in these supposedly haunted locations?
If we die and are a spirit, then technically we aren’t dead. If there is no such thing as a spirit after we die (as some insist humans have no spirit at all)…what are these things that clearly occupy buildings and make noises, push and hit things to make noise, slam doors, etc. and are not visible?
If they are "demons" or "angels" as some say…that’s a spirit doing a physical thing in our realm, from their spirit realm. How is that possible? From a Christian perspective…angels are apparently "helpers" to strenghten us and guide us. Demons are apparently to try to cause and influence evil and pull us away from God (in a Christian viewpoint). I can’t imagine either of these "haunting" a building when their purpose would be for other things as basically at war with one another in their causes.
Some say "ghosts" are "people with unfinished business who died and are spiritually suffering over what physically happened to them. Doesn’t make much sense…if they died from their physical body, their spirit shouldn’t be "bound" by what happened in the body, correct? Plus, why would God theoretically let others go to heaven/hell and/or simply be ‘dead’ and leave a smaller number to drift around and "haunt" places? From a science perspective…if the body dies and there is no spirit…what’s going on in these issues? If the body dies and there is a spirit…then we’d have billions of people walking around "watching" everything. But every building isn’t said to be haunted, so that’s not very plausible…those events don’t happen everywhere.
So the options are: demons, angels or the spirits of those who died. Theoretically lost spirits with desires that will never be fulfilled, if they are spirits of those who died. This means they wouldn’t make it to heaven or hell or anywhere else than some house or building to reside in.
How does science approach this? It’s simple to say, "There’s a scientific explanation for it." But I don’t see any for the p
How does science approach this? It’s simple to say, "There’s a scientific explanation for it." But I don’t see any for the present-day "haunted" attractions that thousands of people visit yearly and report seeing/hearing/feeling things there. We could blame it on paranoia…but people have brought cameras with them and recorded live sounds, things being pushed around in buildings they had not been in before, groups of people freaking out (you can tell they’re not faking). Pictures taken in "haunted" houses, buildings, etc. occasionally capture a being-like form similar to that of a human, and sometimes a supposed face to go along with it. Other times it’s orbs or "auras" of light.
Do you think we’ll ever find out what these things are, unless of course, until we die ourselves? The term "poltergeist" by meaning is: "a ghost that announces its presence with rapping and the creation of disorder" and "The name of unexplained rapping

Chronic Cough w/some strange spasm?
I have this chronic cough, that I have had for YEARS. Along w/the cough, I have developed this strange spasm that I need to exhale air quickly. Almost like I’m trying to suppress a cough? I have an appointment with a pulmonologist coming up. I have seen the doctor and he gave me Singulair a couple days ago. However I feel like it’s getting worse. I’m constantly having this need to "exhale air" quickly. Thoughts?
