XIII
|
IMDB rating: 6.70 Plot: The first female US President Sally Sheridan is shot dead by a sniper during her Independence Day speech. Her assassin narrowly escapes the scene with his life, national security hot on his heels – or so it seems. Three months later, an elderly couple discover the body of a wounded man washed up on a beach. The young man (Dorff) cannot remember the slightest thing about his own identity. The only clue is a tattoo on his neck, “XIII”. Meanwhile, in the Whitehouse, government intelligence is still conducting the search for the President’s killer. With the elections just weeks away, a confirmed suspect could swing the vote for the administration. Hours after XIII’s location is picked up by covert intelligence, elite special ops forces are swarming the couple’s house in Cape Fear. Running on adrenaline and instinct, XIII tactically takes out the soldiers one by one. On the run, clinging to one desperate clue after another, XIII begins to piece back his life, fragments of his memory returning. Finally captured, he learns that he has been given a stolen identity and placed undercover to flush out a group of conspirators threatening to overthrow the government. Ensconced within the highest echelons of power the conspirators run their own security agency alongside the Government’s. Both are out to find him. The only way for XIII to get his own life back is to play bait. A dangerous game, especially when you don’t know who you really are. |

As you can see, yes you can pre-order. If Gamestop doesn’t work for you, likely you can do so elsewhere. Amazon is a likely bet. Or you can call your local game store and ask them specifically.

Do You Like My Storie I Wrote For This Girl?
As the, moonlight glimmers and sparkles over her shoulder. He watches from a far, far distance, that to him it seem permanent but knows its not forever. As her smile, its reflected over, and over in his mind, the way it spread across her face, getting bigger with each compliment, he feels proud to be the one making it. Her eyes softly brush across the words hes wrote, repeating them to her self as she reads them word by word. staring at her hair, it looks as soft as the Midnight clouds, as she slowly brushes it away from her eyes, to only read his reassuring words of care and taking away her fear of being alone. He watched her hands as she slowly lowers them from her head, he could only stop and wish they would interlock with his. The thoughts of her soft hands, grazing upon his made his heart skip beat like it was the first to last. As he eagerly waits for the reply, then a tear would slowly run down his cheek and drip from his chin , as each of her words are so gentle and kind. He could not only wonder, why were they so close, but yet so distant. he stopped, his large muscular hands ran down the, pale white keys, dropped down from the desk. hung down by his sides he threw his head back, there was only one question he could ask himself. " What was he doing?"
It was so wrong but it felt so right. Every time his eyes met hers, he would take 1 long deep breath, and just smile, smile like it was the 1st morning of summer or like he had taken his 1st kiss, or it was Christmas and he had gotten the one thing he longed for. He would try and give hints, clues anything, he would sing to her, leave her sweet emails, even wright her stories. Maybe she was blind to his love. Or didn’t she want to believe it. He couldn’t care less, of what he was doing wrong. He just cared about her, holding her when she cried, and making the pain going away. Laughing when she laughed, even if he didn’t know why she laughed. He wanted to lie next to her as she drifted away in his arms. He just wanted to be the one. The one she cried for when she was in unbearable pain. The one she would think of, and get distracted. The one she always talked about, thought about, dreamed about. He wanted to be the one. The one to give her his jacket when it got cold. The one to walk her right to her door step before the kiss goodnight. He wanted to be the one she loved. It was Obvious he was dreaming.
And these dreams they don’t come true.
The same as every night, the agony to say goodbye crushed his insides. wondering when the next time he will speak again to her is. But tonight, this goodbye was like no other goodbye, it seemed, deeper and more meaningful from her side. Then his heart sank to the bottom of his stomach as he searched the words above, " I wont be on for a few days". suddenly he felt alone, who was going to be there when he needed someone the most. The sadness he felt, he started finding it hard to give her the perfect goodbye. tossing gentle but firm words around. persuading her not to leave, without actually saying it. It may have been a few days to her, but a life time to him. As she leaves, he continues to read her last words on the screen over and over. repeating them in his mind like a broken record, but it was his favorite song. He just sat waiting and wondering, wondering and wish, just hoping for the chance that she may sign back in again. He wanted another chance to say goodbye. Every time he closed his eyes When he was wishing for her to come back, he would notice her big green eyes reflected in his mind, staring right at him as she smiled. She was a amazing person, why couldn’t she see it.
A day without her was hard enough, he felt sick, alone, hurt. The girl he loved, didn’t want to be around him. It was so obvious, and it was simple what she felt for him. When night falls he sits, awaiting on her, staring blankly at the screen. Maybe by some chance she just signs in. As he looks up she catches a glance of him self, in the large over set mirror behind his hard solid wood desk. His large hands, slowly lifting graze his pale white face, and drifted over his pale Pink soft lips. He could only think one thing as he tossed his head back, and drew this fingers through is longish black soft hair. And he asked himself this, "Why aren’t i good enough."
Was it time he give up, give up on her, on himself,
On life?
i actually read it and i like it..what a lucky girl

back to the "I sprained my wrist" question.?
Ok so I asked questions because I sprained my wrist snow boarding a few weeks ago, and well everyone said it should be fine. Well I wore my splint for about 4 days after it happened, and used ice for about a week once a day. Now, a few weeks later, I just played a hockey game last Sunday, and I been using my wrist for other things, including working at fast food. Well now it has a pretty decent sized bruise on it.. Is that normal for after math of a sprain? It’s a big green spot surrounding a black spot.
Yes because when you fell and sprained it, it probably broke blood vessels which cause the bruising

If you were to play a game of hide and seek with an Irishman, where would you hide while he was counting?
And if he found you, what would happen? You’d play 3 rounds of hide and seek with him. Or would you prefer to do the counting while he hid?
I think your so pretty.
Do you have a crush on Eoghan? Lol.
I think if he found your hiding spot the first time there wouldn’t be a 2nd or 3rd round.
Follow the rules accordingly or you will be sent back to your Chechen husband.

Paintball
|
IMDB rating: 5.10 Plot: A truck rumbles down a potholed track. In the back sit a group of passengers, their eyes blindfolded. They don’t know each other, but they have a lot in common: they’re young, urban workaholics, with an appetite for extreme experiences. They’ve signed up for a weekend of adventure. As they head out into the unknown, they hear the others breathing in the darkness, steadying their pulses in silence as the adrenaline begins to flow The blindfolds come off to reveal in a dense forest. Each player is equipped with supplies to last the weekend, a powerful paintball gun, ammunition, maps and instructions. They have to complete an adventure trail that takes in ravines, caves and obstacle-ridden trekking paths. The group is split into two teams. The winners will be the team that wipes out their opponents and completes the circuit. They wanted adventure? They got it. Deep in the woods, one group is ambushed. Invisible snipers pin them down in a hail of paint then one of their number collapses, writhing in agony. Red blood mixes with the paint. Confusion reigns. Who is shooting at them? In the silence, they stare round at each other, and into the forest, looking for a traitor or some kind of explanation. The rules of the game have changed. The only law is the law of the jungle, and nobody trusts anybody else. Hidden among the trees, camouflaged by leaves and branches, there are deadly traps. Hunted down like prey in a lethal game, the teams face a desperate struggle for survival. There’s nothing like a brush with death to make you feel alive. |

I’m trying to buy the Secret of NIMH series by Robert O’Brien, consisting of these three books:
- The Secret of NIMH (1995 edition)
- Racso and the Rats of NIMH (1988 edition)
- R-T, Margaret, and the Rats of NIMH (1991 edition)
Problem is I can’t find NEW copies (not second-hand, so eBay won’t work) anywhere on well-known online stores, hinting that they might have been discontinued or something. It’s a shame because I remember reading them when I was in elementary school, and they were extremely good.
Can anyone recommend some established online bookstores or Canadian bookstore chains that might have them? I live in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada.
Thanks.
they might be out of print. have you tried Barnes and Noble? I’ve orderd online all the time from them.

I think I have really bad anger management?
Lately it has gotten worse.
I cause fights with people in my house, I hate critism.
I get annoyed with my mum because she has OCD, and then she starts and then that gets me started.
I get angry when I cannot do something or I don’t understand.
I’m in the middle of my GCSE’s Atm. And my dad seems to think I dont do anything because I don’t want to go out and run or do an after school activity – because im either revising or doing homework or coursework – and my weekend is my break, and my dad seems to think that I do nothing with my life when on a saturday I just want to sit with my best friend and watch a series on TV, or go into town, I dont particulary want to be out swimming or doing some after school activity.
I get really angry and I throw things and shout and bite my pillow and slam my door and I just get really het up and I scream and then when it dies down I cry for ages.
But my mum is the one who triggers it cause all she does is moan and I know she’s had a long day at work and she has OCD so she cleans and she moans at everyone else and I cant stand moaners.
So I always get into arguments with her and she walks away from me and thats what annoys me even more because even though I want to stop I’m not finished.
I get really angry when I dont get my own way (which is really bratty I know) but like it does annoy me, I’m not majorly bad, and its not with things like clothes and money, not that kind of own way – but if I dont want to do something, then I dont want to do something.
And it gets loads worse when I’m on my period.
Also it comes at peaks – if I have a really bad day at school – it seems to get worse, and I just cannot seem to not have arguments with my parents.
I’m 15 and I’m always angry. Its constant and its like a rubber band, every now and again, like every few months, I’ll just snap and go crazy.
the ppl who NEED anger management are out there committing murder and deadly assaults on ppl.
NOT you. NOT me.
our anger is rational and natural anger.
we are entitled to express a perfectly human form of anger.
its when anger becomes the fuel for evil actions – that its dangerous.
its weird, cos anger management is not something you can train somebody I don’t think.
when someone snaps – they snap. End of.
LFC_ANFIELD_REDS | Feb 01, 2010
If something is bothering you , just think ..whatever and try not to get upset. Arguing and shouting isn’t the best way to handle these situations , maybe listen to music when you feeling upset. I hope everything gets better : ]
– Chi | Feb 01, 2010
The first answer could not be more wrong. Many, many people need anger management. You don’t have to kill someone or be dangerous in order to want to control angry outbursts and feel more comfortable with themselves, and be happier on a day to day basis. Wondering when you’re going to snap next and at whom is not a good way to live.
You most likely have a chemichal imbalance in your brain, which can be treated with medication. You need to start with seeing your family Doctor, and then maybe a therapist to talk things out. You don’t need an anger management program just yet, but a good therapist will be able to tell you whay you’re unhappy all the time.

is she really a virgin…..?
I’m 20 and met this 18 year old college girl. We were talking on the phone and we randomly got into the topic of dating and relationships and stuff like that. She told me how she’s never had a boyfriend before or anything close to that.
She told me that when she was 16 she had a friend with benefits with this older 19 year old italian college guy. She said that they did everything but sex (including oral) and that they would fool around in public, in cars, in parks, everywhere. She said that they did some very freaky & kinky things.
She said that she is still a virgin. Should I believe her? she doesn’t sound like a virgin to meee
You could just physically examine her and find out, you know!

Den Brown-Eyed | Feb 02, 2010
Well honestly, you really have no basis to judge, if she says she’s a virgin that’s really all you have to go on. My boyfriend and I have been dating for over 6 months and have done "everything but" as people put it. We honestly want to wait until we’re married to do the full monty, so to speak. But we plan on getting married for sure (we’ve been best friends for years), so I mean I guess it depends on the person’s values as to whether or not they would go all the way.
Sorry if this is confusing, hope it helps even a little. Haha

amber_2132 | Feb 02, 2010
I don’t think that she is a virgin from what you have said cause having friends is one thing, but friends with benefits is a whole different thing… I wouldn’t trust her at all.
That’s my honest opinion, but you can have your own on whether you should believe her or not.
bandgurl | Feb 02, 2010
Doesn’t sound like a virgin. But if she hasn’t had oral sex, anal sex, or anything like that, then she is a virgin b/c she hasn’t had sex. Did she go into detail? I wouldn’t believe her, besides she might be telling you this bull because she doesn’t like you like that and she wants to make herself look bad.
smora105 | Feb 02, 2010
She might most likely not be, but you never know it’s rare to find a virgin these days. You can tell by her actions once you go out and phys get to know eachother more, ya know?

Tropical One | Jan 21, 2010 No real parent will let their kids see violent films or containing scenes of sex. They wouldn’t have them roaming the streets either. As these kids were in care – where is the care they were receiving? It is the same with violent games – violence breeds violence and young children’s minds can be seriously warped. Every baby is born pure not evil, it is what happens to them that can make them evil like these 2. Children need guidelines and role models from a very early age and if they are left to roam freely at night and no doubt bunk of school, then they are bound to get into trouble with petty theft etc. This though is something else. Who knows how long their minds have been warped and who knows the reason why they even went into care. Maybe they were abused as well and the vicious circle goes on. The authorities also are responsible because they were in the care of the authority who had them placed in foster home. They should have kept a very close eye on them as I am sure if they delve deep there will be other incidents of violence etc in schools. scooter | Jan 21, 2010 well in my opinion , and probably lots of other persons opinion , save tax-payers cash . set an example put them and the parents down that would cause a stir . alexfalkirk | Jan 21, 2010 They are evil , beyond help , its in there mental makeup you cant help these 2 nightmares JESSIEBLUE | Jan 21, 2010 Very little will happen too those boys – it will be a repeat of the ‘Bulger tragedy’ – all they will get is a few years in ’secure accomodation’ – release – new identitys – just like the killers of ‘young Bulger’. Expect more of the same – there are 100’s of out of control kids/morons out there just waiting to ’socially expload’ – caused for the most part by ‘out of control parents behaviour’ who could’nt careless what there kids get up too..!! they knew what they were doing as most have said i think the whole family should be locked up . no excuses whyme | Jan 21, 2010 These two boys are evil beyond words. Even wild animals would not resort to such depravity. A psychiatrist has already said that one of the boys could go on to be a psychopath. No amount of counselling or mental rehabilitation can help these evil minds and they are a danger to society and always will be. They should never ever be released into society. The public will never be safe from these feral scum kids. The parents should be held accountable, and some form of punishment given for extremely bad parenting and negligence. Also they should be prevented from having any more children. Any remaining siblings of these boys should be taken into care for their own good and safety. Such evil has no place and if they were dogs they’d be put down. Shame that won’t happen. I think we have a serious problem in todays western governments on how to treat criminals. Teri ann Rainbow | Jan 21, 2010 As a "civilised" society we have no choice..we have to treat them humanely to do otherwise would only reinforce the lesson that violence is acceptable which is a lesson these boys seem already to have learned.
